can u get a boost leak if ur dump valve isnt workin right? :?

would u be able to feel the air leaking from the dump valve coz i can hear sumthin like air leak from around the valve but not 100%sure

i posted up a very useful guide to finding boost leaks, have a look in the how to section :

i.e. search you lazy fooker :wink: :lol:

You need to remember that when boosting, your filter is sucking like fook, so this maybe the noise you hear. I found that when a valve leaks on high boost, it tends to scream / high pitch sound. Best thing to do is start the car up and check the D.V piston. Is should be fully closed on idle.
