dump valve location

should the dump valve be moved closer to the turbo with a front mount?

I always thought the best place was as close to the inlet manifold as possible ?

Mines fitted in the standard valve position and i think this is the best place .

mine is fitted on to a custom piece of pipework near the throttle housing.the dump valve position is highlighted by the yellow ring 8)

As close to the plenum as reasonably possible,to stop the pressure when the throttle is closed reaching the turbo and stalling the blades :!: Or so the theory goes :!:
