Hi

Are you going to give the cylinder a nikkel/chrome surface treatment, after it´s been drilled to 86,5 mm for my new pistons? And it will cost about 800 pund to get the block done:shock:

Hi, nothing needs to be done to the cylinder bore.

It just needs to be bored and honed to the correct size

Don't be mugged, It should only cost about £50-£70 a bore to have them bored and honed.

There is no need to do this as other people have said, just give the engineer the pistons so they can size them, rough bore block then hone.. if you want to spend extra money have the block and oil pump housing decked.
