Hi been malleting the fork out of the drive can get it all the way on the shaft properly is there a spacific thing i am missing out and yes the splines are aligned? :sad:

Hi mate,push the CV on until it hits the spring clip,with a flatblade screwdriver line the spring clip so that its even and it should then just push on.

As implied above, the spring clip thingy might be half in and half out of the groove so jamming the whole caboodle. When Shaun says 'even', read -- sitting in the groove all the way round (the cv joint should hold it in place with light pressure)

put some greese over it the centre it , the greese will keep it in place then use a copper hammer to knock it on.

Ok cheers guys tried that and greesed it was a right pain and still no joy so went to a mate and he gave me new clips and with a little bit of giggry pokery they went on so all 4 boots done bloody nightmare covered in gack sure its all fun :lol:
