Changed Det sensor And Wiring.Still Code 34

OK This is starting to **** me right off. Got a code 34, So i have changed the sensor plus rewired it all back to the ecu. And bam still the same fault and soon as the car is started up.

Any Ideas? :sad:

did you test the new sensor?

Have you re-set the ECU?As it will still hold the last recorded faultcode.

Yes reset the ecu, but i didnt check the sensor, it is second hand but i was hoping it would be ok, considering i bought it of a member from here.

But the sensor i took out is showing 550ohms?

to be fair ive never tested one, but whoever i bought it off i would have, cause changing it ant exactly my idea of fun.

Ok i have both det sensors here, Tested them and both are exactly rhe same reading of 545ohms. Anybody know if thats ok?

The only test the manual shows to do is check for continuity between terminal a and ground.

Terminal a being the left terminal as you look at it with the engine mounting face downwards.
