bought some ohlins shocks but have a question

Hi i bought some standard rear shocks so i can get a coilover rebuilt. Took them out of the box and they are ohlins , are these standard? At the base theres a blue cap with a valve underneath. Would that be for adjustable damping at all as it has a slot that looks like it would turn and they are quite hard tbh.

No. - I think the standard struts were made by GAB or someone like that.

Hey guys haven't checked in for abit. I did try and message the seller if they had the fronts but they haven't, only have standard fronts I may or may not wack them on ebay when the coilovers rebuilt. Info on the ohlins is quite thin on the ground. Not sure if they are adjustable damping or adjustable preload? Would love to ease off the hardness if i can as there hard as nails.
