BMC CDA AIR Filter

does anybody know anything about these filters, im in the process of getting an air filter and not sure if this one is any good?

Any Info would be much appreciated.

I know on french motors they are fantastic they offer good heat protection and decent flow. give one a try and let us know.

They are very good, my girlfriend has one on her Audi, does offer great heat protection as nicklock says, but it muffles the compressor surge. Still a very good filter :-D

it might be a good filter if you're only got 150hp but they do seem to be too small for an R with decent power
