big brake kit problem

Hi,

I have the kad 6 pot brake kit fitted at the front but now I have much brake fading and I have to pump the pedal twice before any brake power. I have the idea there can't be enough fluid pumped right now.

Do I need a larger brake master cylinder? If so what kind could i fit?

Or is there another problem solver?

It sounds like they need bleeding

And before you bleed them, check that you have the calipers on the correct side and that the bleed nipples are at the highest point on the system, not the lowest.
This is a common mistake with Nissan 4 spot calipers, change the calipers over and hey presto, bleed nipples at the top and all aok.

Was going to say the same Splum, I made this mistake 1st time I fitted some 4 pots and no matter how much you bleed them you cannot get the air out.
