Areomotive a1000 feul pump

Just got a areomotive a1000. Wen submersing it in a tank is there anything you need to put over terminals ?

It's going to get wet anyway but best with something that's fine with petrol.
You keeping the standard fuel tank? Keep the pump on the outside?
