Actuator adjustment

When I fitted my new turbo and actuator I guestimated the rod adjustment and now fitted (always the way :? ) I think it needs to be just a tad tighter, has anyone on here adjusted the actuator rod with the turbo in place (my turbo & Actuator are in the standard position).

i watched someone do it...very very fiddly and the circlip fell off whilst i drove home :evil:

buy a 4 ply manifold gasket and you can drop the mo fo as many times as you like

i agree very fiddly. i changed my actuator with the turbo on and found in the end would prob of been quicker and definetly easier with the turbo off and i wouldnt of had to butcher a spanner.....il know for next time! as for adjusting it would i would try doind it with it all in place if u have the patients! i have a fear of shearing bolts and studs ....a few bad experiences!:lol:
