8x17 on the R

anyone have fitted the 8x17 on his R?

what do you think about the tyre on the R?
I want do 450 bhp from my R..205/40/17 on 7x17 or 215/40/17 on 8x17?

I think stay very well

rims meausure:

external meausure(exit out of car):
7x17 et 20(my)=67,5mm
7x17 et 35= 52,5mm(stay good with d2 coilover)
8x17 et 31= 69mm

8x17 only 1,5mm out from my 7x17 et20

internal meausure(to the coilover)
7x17 et 20=87,5mm
7x17 et 35=122,5mm
8x17 et 31=100mm

d2 fit well under 7x17 et 35..my 8x17 are et 31
122,5 - 100=22,5mm of clereance

I think fit as well on my R this 8x17

any one has got pics about 8x17 on his R?

I use 7.5x17 with 215/40 goodyear gsd3's with no problems.

Why do you want 8"??

now I have 7x17 et 45 with 25mm spacers..and look very very good..

I want remove the spacers and have the same effect..
but there aren't 7x17 et20 or similar..

with 8x17 et 31 are similer to 7x17 et20..and in the future I can install 215/40 or 225/35/17

17 x 7 ET 20 is rare.. so far never found any rim with that spec

except 17 x 7 ET25
i using 17 x 7 ET25,, massive brake clearance as well look nice due to slightly pushed out

but i taken it out soon and replace it with 15 x 6.5 offset 33
