If only I'd noticed this in time! I don't come on here enough lately and thought this was last years thread! but I had a right good time! If it happens again next year I'll be there again! Hopefully with a fresh thread mr bob so I'll see it next time! ;-)

Just got back (only half hour up road from me) all i can say is one hell of a day, such a good laugh and only 1 casualty i believe... Still cant believe my mate in his little suzuki beat all the pulsars(and all cars bar 1 infact) on one of the circuits. Just like to say a big thank you to Bob again for organising this, hopefully he will arrange another one as they are quite popular and its great to meet fellow owners :)

sorry chris il start a new thread if i organise another next year, funnily enough was talking about your dads 500 abarth and how surprisingly quick that was last year.

ok was a great day and think everyone enjoyed themselves (was better than last year i thought) despite me not getting there along with a few others till after 10o/c due to a huge accident off the m11 roundabout:doh:

pete.....thanks for the pint today and yes your mate was surprisingly quick on that big circuit and he did very well indeed in the swift, just goes to show that its not all about out and out power!
pleased your cars running spot on too:thumbsup:

was a bit of a downer for me today as i only had the stock pulsar to bring which had next to no brakes so i certainly wasnt gonna break any track records with that but gave the new engine a good hard hammering and had a lot of fun going sideways, touch wood all seems fine so that needs to be fitted in my trackcar by next thursday and setup along with suspension ready for totb next weekend....so its gonna be a very busy week for me lol.

mine and bens time got equalled today by bens mate in a vx220 so thats 3 of us now all on 48secs, i was talking to the instructor and hes best is 47 so we aint doing too bad i guess.

il hopefully book another of these next year around the same sort of time of year as people seem to enjoy the day and its cheap fun too without all the safety briefing crap you get from full on trackdays.

many thanks to all of you who attended:thumbsup:

I've just got back (sadly 3 hours for me) and I'll echo what's already been said. Massive thanks to bob forsorting this out. Me and my brother had an absolute blast, it was brilliantly laid back and I'm glad I've finally been able to see what my r is capable of! I'll definately be up for doing this again whenever regardless of what sort of car I have to bring. It was also great to put a (forum) name to a face. Red Reading, thanks for taking my brother out in your car, it's pretty much all he talked about on the way back! I'm sure there should be a few good photos of the day, so whoever has them, post them up.Highlight of the day for me had to be the barman in the pub we went to for lunch, as camp as a row of tents and asked me if I'd "like to share a big one ", granted he was talking about water but even so!

no problem mark, as a few of you could see my car was a bit of a hand full, after 5 laps on the handling circuit the brand new toyo proxes were wrecked! The car needs a bit more dialing in then we shall see what it can do as it definatley has the go go, to me the most entertaining part of the day was the lad in the green 325 bmw.....very nice driveing and ben in red pulsar and the lad in the swift.

any picture's or video's?
olliecast has a video in car with me and a lad was taking many picture's, also i will add i am very impressed with ed's mapping as the car is steerable on the throttle, it is a little laggy with thae size of turbo but that can be fixed and will not be a problem on larger track's which the gearing will be more suited.
