D2 Coilover recommended settings

I have searched old threads and looked arround, but as I am not that technical I will try to get som help in this thread.
When adjusting the stiffnes I use the tool with the purple head indicating the stiffnes to put in on top of the damper, it is supposed to have 36 settings.
If I remeber right the softest is counterclockwise and that it has 6 turns (correct me if I am wrong).

What iI wonder is how many turns front and rear that you recommend when setting up my car?

it would depend wat you really use the car for?
i would set them on half way 16 clicks in and go from there set them to your driving, if to stiff back them off a click or two.

On normal road use I have used the softest setting, but I often use it on track and next
week I am taking it to Nürburgring.
Do you know how many turns 16 clicks are?

if its any help mine are set to 6 off max front and dependant on track 12 off max rear (which is what i recently used at the ring. if on a tighter track then i soften the fronts by 4 clicks and wind the rears to the max

for road use i soften the whole lot off to the max as the spring rates are very hard and overcome the damping anyway.

my driving is quite aggressive and a lot does depend on your own driving style as to what settings you prefer as said above!

Two full turns towards hard (front), one full turn towards hard (rear).

That's roughly what I run for hard use/track.

For road use I set the units to standard/softest settings as they are too hard for road use.

What are you doing with your car, tracks, street, hill climbs?

Thanks for the input guys :) I have had problems feeling the clicks and it is hard to see in the rear
so that is why I try to measure it with whole turns...
I f I understand you right Fubar andy you use them turned max to the left/counterclockwise on road
and then turn it two in front and one in rear to the right/clockwise for track? Sounds reasonable.

Yeah, start soft and work upwards.

On D2's you won't find any clicks, its just a smooth turning mechanism.

Depends on the age of the D2 shocks mine (later ones) have clicks but earlier ones are smooth as above.

My car is yet to hit the track but they are way too stiff for the road even on the minimum setting but this is a lot to do with the spring rates not the damper settings.

What's a good spring rate for coilovers on our cars for mostly road use, the occasional trackday?I'm thinking 5kg front 4kg rear?
What are the standard spring rates?
