water temp gauge

can i put the defi water temp sensor in the bit where the top hose goes like tap it into the housing where bolts to block instead of cuttin top hose

hi the housing is quite thin walled , you would be better getting an alloy boss welded onto the housing then drilling and tapping that, thats what i did ,
