Water Pump - how long

How long would it take to get a water pump done. Looking at a car which needs this doing but no idea how many hours labour to get it changed.

£35 pound i paid for a new pump, and about thirty pound to fit it cash in hand, was told i may as well change all the belts as well while the pump was out

If it was that cheap then it can't of taken long to do

£30! its a tw@ of a job unless you take the engine out, so i think the £30 offer is either a very good friend or someone that hasnt done one yet!

iv change mine with engine in car before. you have to remove engine mount and lift engine up abit to gain acess.
about a hours work if your good with the tools

bastard job done a few and hate doing them i def. wouldnt do for 30 quid lol

An hour is very good going, I did mine in the car and dont like the fact you have to be soooo careful not to mess up your bead of sealent as you struggle to get it in place. Make sure you dont stress ANYTHING as well.

For £30 if hes a decent mechanic get him to do it and go out on the pi55 instead.
