Vacuum hoses

When changing to samco vauum hoses the hose clips from before dont fit,

Do people either,
1. Not use clips as they are vacuum
2. Use jubilee clips (what size?)
3. Use crimp clips (where from, what size?)

genarally dont use anything but if worried about it coming off I use a small clear cable tie not done up to tight.

I replaced some of my clips on the vac hoses for shiny new SS one's got them at Nissan Parts their 14mm as far as i know but just measure the Dia of the new hose and go to you local engineering suppliers they will have store full of clips.
