Guys/gals,

took the R to local masterfit yesterday to get a free check, they checked my psi on the tyres and they were at 20PSI? That looked at me like i knew nothing about cars, they then checked their hand book at it should be at 32psi - is this right?

for my 14's the manual says 2.4bar all round- not sure on psi conversion. depends what size wheels you've got, but 20psi is a little on the low side :wink:

2.4bar = 34.81psi

http://www.convert-me.com/en/convert/pressure Useful!!

On my 205/40 - 17s I run 37psi front 35 psi rear.

Makes sense to me as there's more weight at the front. :?

ANy more it gets nasty in the wet, any less it starts tracking tar lines and whitelines really badly.

20psi does seem very low - no wonder they looked at u a bit strangely. Should have said you'd lowered the pressure for more grip up the strip at the Pod!!

Cheers
