Due to the pipe runs from my Forge intercooler I can not find a suitable place to front mount my 19 row oil cooler (19 row  was supposed to be a 16 row but was sent a 19 row by mistake) So I am going to have to top mount my oil cooler :( (for now)

What problems will this cause :?:

What are the good/bad points of doing this :?:

Hello mate, I had a 13 row cooler on top of mine when i first bought the car, I went through 3 of them in about 4 months! they just shake so much that they split. being an even deeper cooler than mine yours might get the same problem, not very nice pumping oil out over the engine  Why not pick up 13 rower(they're really quite cheap, 30-50 quid) and put it in the front somewhere!

you should isolate an oil cooler from vibration anyway by mounting it with rubber mounts (mocal sell these too). BUT i doubt they would be strong enough to reduce the vibration enough if the cooler is bolted to the engine.

Not possible to make up a mount off the strut brace (if you have one) ?
Other than that, put it behind one of the brake ducts :)
