timing marks

Could the holes drilled in this pulley have been put there as timing marks

or just to balance the pulley out.

Cannot find any other marks on the bloody thing.

Having just seen the same drilling's on a flywheel i would say balancing marks!! the after market aluminium pulley wheel i bought had no timing marks on it :frusty:

that's why i had some made with timing marks (properley set up on a jig)..............but no one wanted to by them as they were too expensive.

These came with the block Dan,

Also Dan how do i check timimg now!

Can it be done with consult,

tps was also way out 0.12, Mark did not believe me when i said lets check it, wil give him somestick now
 
Danny, are your pullies still available? I was going to get one when I finally put my engine together. Do they also under drive the alternator to reduce the losses at high rpm?
