Timing chain removal

Rebuilding a spare SR20DET engine and trying to remove the timing chain, the allen bolts that hold the tensioners on don't want to undo, I take they are supposed to come undone or is the chain a split link.

Any advice or tricks

don,t what to come out? use some nongentle persuasion once the chain is slack it come off easy.doggy way of getting chain off is grind one of the link pins so it flush with the link the tapped it out and refit with new pin.
