Cylinder leakage test check for a burn't out valve. Anymore loss than 6 to 10 % investigated[:0]

Have you replaced fuel filter?
Could it be possible fuel pump fault - or have you uprated [:D]

1000 miles and still intact

best thing would be to check it on the roller with exhaust fuel ign test equipment connected otherwise it be case of trial and error.

mmmm I try not to take any notice of anything in the morning/before water is normal/oil is at the 70C mark...
Your/my/our car is simply not up to operating temperatures before then... if its something thats gotten progressively worse then post again

i did think that aswell but i had it on the dyno down at abbey and the car was roasting then,it showed up quite bad but things always do on the dyno if you have a problem[:(]
i also notice it on tickover aswell now but its not there all the time.
i am going to change the fuel pump(sold the one i had the other day[:(])the fuel filter and lambda sensor but i doubt it will have any effect.[:(]

I find injector cleaner does work - so did Caleb
Try the fault test (again) as soon as the misfire occurs

oh well the misfire has now got worse it does it through most of the rev range now when i boot it[:(]
but when i use light throttle at low boost it seems to be ok.
i am going to get the lambda sensor changed today to see what happens but i doubt that will have any effect[:(]
spose i will just have to keep changing bits over until it goes away .
i was going to change the fuel pump but it hasnt arrived yet[:(]
i am thinking that it could be the pump as on light throttle its ok but when i boot it it coughs and farts so the pump is working harder.
what do you recon guys[?][?]
coil[?][?]
dizzy[?][?]
more ideas would be appreciatiated[:D]
cheers

Have you tried the leads plugs rotor arm and dizzy. I had a missfire that happened under load and on boost and a small amount under low revs acceleration off boost. Replaced the leads dizzy and rotor and the problem went away.

Thanks
Paul

Have you got the right plugs and correct gap?
Do you have an air leak anywhere?
Is your air filter blocked (long shot)
Other component, crank angle sensor, MAF, coil etc
Can you get an efi/ignition specialist to check it for you?
