anyone any ideas????

the other morning on the way to work i was in 5th gear and accelerated and the clutch seemed to slip for a second when the boost came in.........it was a cold cold morning.
later that night everything seemed normal with no slipping...........then the next morn same again. it only seems to do this on cold mornings. does anyone have any ideas. does it sound like my clutch is on the way out or is it just something to do with the cold???????

cheers daz

Could be the start of your clutch going. What revs was it at?
Mine started at about 35-4000rpm in 5th and slowly got worse over the next 6 months. If I kept out of mid range with foot to the floor it was OK, even drag racing it :bolt:

It might be an idea to start saving for a new one.;-)

On cold morning the car will 'feel' quicker as the R or any turbo motor loves cold damp air as it's the ideal air temp for the charge (cold air going into the engine).

Sounds like your clutch has started to go. It happens in 5th first and slowely gets worse over time.
