Does anyone know if it's possible to mount the altenator to the rear of the block using a rwd nissan bracket or is it needing to be fabbed up?

Have to ask why? Having had an old car which had a rear mounted alternator - what a complete pain in the arse it was to get to when it failed.

I suppose you could swap the power steering pump to the front and put it there instead. - There's not a lot of room for an alternator with the power steering and all the plumbing under the inlet manifold, so I suspect something has to go.

Why because 6262 turbo top mounted and want to move it for more room fore a 4 inch exhaust going straight out the wing.

Power steering is electric and I will probs mount the dry sump pump on the front of the block. Also because wire tuck. And I like it looking neat

One of the guys in the US sells a conversion kit with a bracket etc. I can't remember who at the moment, but I'm sure if you have a look on sr20-forum you'll find it.
