evening all,i fitted a mishimoto rad a few months back,it currently has a 1.3 bar cap that came with the rad,the rad is 50mm buy standard width and height, now should i stick with the cap that came with the rad or use the standard rad cap, might sound a daft question but dont want to run into more problems.what do you guys think.

How's the rest of the cooling system? - Obviously if you're running a higher pressure cap (1.3bar rather than 0.9bar) it puts more stress on the rest of the pipework.

If it's all new hoses I'd run with the 1.3 bar cap, but if they're old an tired (especially the ones on the back of the engine) I'd be tempted to use a 0.9 bar cap.

The new radiator probably does a better job of getting rid of the heat than the old one so you don't really need to run a higher pressure since you're probably not going to be boiling coolant.
