oil pressure on gauge erratic

yah just replaced it with another used sender. seemed to fix it. altho i do get the occasional drop below 2 bar when idling after it gets hot but shoots back up to 4 when i get on it. perhaps i have a slight leak when things get hot... related to this guy http://www.gtiroc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=58657

i'll have to test for a boost leak one of these days.

It's normal for the pressure to drop when you're idling... think about it; the pump isn't turning nearly as fast.

Indeed, Nissan state it can drop as low as 1kg/cm2 or even lower on idle. Personally never seen that, mines always read around 2 at idle and only recently been playing up.

Pretty sure mines the sender as I stopped the engine once and restarted and it went back to normal range.
