mongoose + track use?

Out of interest, what sort of distance away from the car do they measure the noise?? :?: As far as I can tell the goose on my car has two loud points at about 3100 and 5800rpm, so 4500 would be ideal! :lol: :lol: :wink:

yeah i know ie head work, cams, etc, but the engine in question is std spec. 8)

just to settle the score, it passed with 94dB so we got on track and had an awesome time!!! :twisted:

Were you there today then :?:

I was out on the track at 9am, i was in a rush to get on track cos i got stuck in a traffic jam on the way in :x but i think mine was about 97/98 db :wink:

yeah that was us! :lol: quarry was a good corner for the R, shame the car doesnt have a bit more rear drive bias tho! Ive just fitted full polyflex bushes front and rear, koni shocks, and whiteline rear anti roll bar for him, it then got set up by powerstation, and it still understeered slightly! :roll: :lol:
