You don't need it bud and by all intents and purposes, it's another useless part of the SR20DET in the GTiR.
As I said above, bin it and all it's associated pipe work and the engine will look cleaner and be easier to work on plus, it might just sort your final niggles with the slightly hunting idle !

Ah ok, well ill give it a go, the plumbing you refert to, you mean all the piping just below the injectors?

They're the ones bud. The pipes that go to each throttle body, attached to the pipe from the PCV.

You'll still need to 'loop' the inlets/trottle bodies for cylinder 1 and 2 together, as well as 3 and 4. Or, if you can find some blanking covers, blank them off separately. Just as long as they're sealed off.

Alright cheers, ill give it a go and see how it is.
