knocking noise when driving but nothing when braking

Can anyone give me suggestions as to what might be the problem. I got my car back today after 2 1/2 months off the road but the knocking noise when i drving is still there. I have changed all the diffs and propshaft for new ones my mechanic thinks it a drive shaft as the noise isn't there when you brake its only when you drive. Driving me fucking mental. I thought it was warped discs but have changed them. and have new pads all round. Im totally goosed as to what it is.

Just had an identical problem dude ,,drove me mad

They say could be wheel bearing but turned out to be cv jointboot was split and was full of crap and just wore out :cry:

Got a second hand one and hey presto no more noise

its when driving once i get past 15mph or so. i have had it on a lift today its the drivers side drive shaft thats fucked. I already had the cv boots done last night. :D

that wouldn't be a knocking, that would be more of a slapping noise as his hand moves frantically backwards and forwards :shock:
