just picking up on the above. >>
what i find strange is that there was gearbox issue's in the first cars built and nissan did nothing to fix it.. !!
or did they ?? im told the gearbox case is differant on the later cars .. is this correct,,?

Group A rally cars had a completley differant gearbox to a standard car.

And the Group N cars had a modified split shaft system for the transfer box available from the factory which made it easier to change the gearbox
