intake temp sensor?

Intake temp sensor plus gauge. Is there such a thing, and can it easily be DIY?

i have one and it works a treat

i have one of these fitted to my car qaulity little bit of kit.. it hasnt shown above 21 degrees yet 8)

i bought a double one from maplin thats back lit and can measure up higher than those 40 quid ones

and its only 20 lol

just extend wires with a bit of bell wire and u get either in and out of intercooler or out of cooler and outside temp

I'd be intersted in one of those...

Is it digital ???

would water injection F*ck it up ???

Maplins down the road from me at work can pop in and have a look for one tomorrow 8)

I guess that is a yes answer to the temp question. A before intercooler and after intercooler temp would be nice. Can't I just get a temp gauge and stick it in the intercooler hoses?

My friend used a chicken thermostat on his scooby ( :roll: ) but it did work very well.

Whats the highest the temp gauge will need to read to?

Cuz i have a top mount, and i'm constantly worring about the heat soak.

heres the number for my one

a49ar in black
it can be wired into the 12 volt from car

i havent had proper time to test this one etc so cant guarantee it can take pre IC temps ok but its 100% fine for after the IC
