Well the HTF GTi-R was back out at Tsukuba sporting a brand new look for this year.

This was the red widebody car thats popped up a few times over the past few years and no ones really been able to come up with any real spec apart from its running a NA SR20VE (theres a youtube video kicking about somewhere of it). Anyway, it managed a 1'01"297, not to shabby for a NA machine on street tyres. Guess it proves a GTi-R can be competitive without going with stupid aero kits like the DD Autosports one!

Yes, I actually thought it was the DD Autosports car when I first looked at it...

So maybe it needs the stupid aero kit to be competitive after all!?

Atleast that looks like an aero kit and not an extra from flash gordon,

shame they changed the colour,the white does nt do it justice!

If it's a Japanese car, then Japanese Racing White is an appropriate colour for it.

Also to note, I was told that "tuning" companies in Japan spray their cars in white as a means display that the car is under development and once complete then they add decals or spray it a different colour

I personally think the aero kit isnt that OTT and it does appear well put together in comparison to the DD kit which is a MDF and chicken wire special. Maybe Ive been watching to much hot version.....
