Here we go again - high idle...

Right - I've put up with a 1700rpm idle for long enough... so I spent most of Saturday trying to track it down.

I have checked every vacuum pipe end to end - no leaks.
The famous 'rubber bungs' are in place and intact.
I changed the DV for a Forge dual piston one.

When I screw the idle adjust screw all the way in, the idle drops to 1300rpm - which is better but not good enuff  . There has to be something else...

I checked the connections to the MAF - no probs there as far as I can see.

Is this likely to be being caused by having a K&N and Goose on... i.e. it's impossible to adjust the idle low enuff to compensate for the extra flow??

Any thing else I need to check?

Cheers
