Head Gasket - HKS or Cosworth???

I've previously had a 2.0mm HKS headgasket but now after having some overdue tlc, getting engine back together & R on road I need to source a new headgasket.

However, being 5 years since I last bought one I see a few people & places now suggesting the Cosworth 1.8 headgasket as a preferred option?

Anyone had any experience or have any opinions???

Cheers

If you do a search on here you'll find your answer in multiple threads!

But basically the cosworth is much cheaper but you need to do a little work to make it fit perfectly where as the HKS is more expensive (nearly double the price I think) but is a direct fit with no messing.

Mazwerx....but then again i do have a 90mm bore

If you haven't got lots of horsepower go for a standard one, you can get away with a slight warpage and marks that will have a multi layer gasket leaking.
