Head bolts

Hey. I'm new to this forum...I have just bought a Pulsar GTIR with a few problems and i am now after new head bolts...Nissan have told me they will cost £160! Is there anywhere cheaper than that? Cheers, Tom

You tried eBay? Do a search on Sr20det, that's what I do for common parts like that.

Although they are not recommended, could you get the ARP ones cheaper? - From what has been posted about them, I'd stick with genuine Nissan.

A motor factor up by me quoted me £60 for standard headbolts.i thought that was a pretty good deal.

I got headstuds from Tony Bardi, can't rem how much exactly but don't think it was more than £200.

Thanks for the replies...i should have mentioned the car is nothing mad, its stock really apart from the 87mm hks pistons...Im not going to run any mad boost, i want to run it at about a bar...I have found some head bolts for 50 quid! not genuine nissan...i hope they will be ok...!
