Handbrake light.

My handbrake light is staying on all the time. Does this just mean my brake fluid is low.

have u looked at the handbrake light switch? it may just be dirty or broken, some people get them flickeringwhen thay go over bumps, due to a dirty switch. Check that 1st.

The light doesnt have anything todo with the fluid level, that would far far to complicated compared to how it actually works!

Pull the plastic surround which covers the handbrake/gearstick off and you should be able to find a crappy black connector with a spring. Hopefully its somehow stuck on :?

Just adjust the switch on the handbrake, if it still doesn't sort it, buy a new one. It's less than a £10er and easy to fit. The number's in the part number sticky somewhere.
