My handbrake light is stuck on all the time after the cold weather this winter. :?

How can I sort this out? without smashing the bulb or taking it out?

Goto Nissan and buy a new handbrake switch for a £10er  If you take the surround off the hand brake, you'll find it under the front of the lever.
That's how I sorted mine.

Cheers, maybe that. When I stick the loud peddle down the light does turn off, but I can't drive everywhere fast, so suppose new switch it is then. :D

Try wiggling the handbrake lever, mine got to a point where I could turn it off doing that, then it was just on full time.
10min job to fit the new switch.

Have you checked brake fluid level in the reservoire. Think it is linked to the same light, and low fluid sloshing about (technical term) could cause the light to go off/on under acceleration.
