Exhaust Valve Controller - anyone got fitted?

Hey guys,

I'm looking into the idea of getting an Apexi exhaust valve controller, been in court and got enough warnings before car was off road. back on now and couldn't get any baffles to fit so seems this the best option anyway.

Has anyone got one of these fitted?
It says to mount near tailpipe, but wouldn't that only dampen a little of the noise - I've a full mongoose...

Just wondering does it work well and if so where to mount?

Don't really want to change the mongoose, but is that what others have done??

Thanks, but am i not correct in saying that would be great but only for stnadard exhasut system??

as in it effectively bypasses teh standard restrictions when open and on boost, but when not its jsut a pipe in the existing system with no valves - valve only ont he extra port which opens and effectively vents under the car if I'm correct...

So it would solve my problem, but only if I had standard exhasut.

I need to quiten my existing Mongoose....

Has nobody done this at all???

tried but too big and also not convinced it'll silence enough..

I'll keep loooking or try the evc i think..

Surely your local stainless steel exhaust centre could make something up for you?
