Difference between piston sizes

Whats the main difference with 86mm and 87mm hks pistons. Why is there two different types for the pulsar. Can anyone help.

Incase you need a rebore from mild scratches down the bores... Some peeps replace pistons through engine failure which can damage bores... Others just to strengthen the engine for more power...

The over size will give slightly more capacity which can also help a little with torque...
