copper washers

I've got an oil leak under the car and the only place i think it can be coming from is the oil supply to the turbo, i've tryed to get some copper washers in halfords and a couple of diy stores ,but cant get em anywhere. Some people have sugested going to a plumbing shop but all plumbing washers seem to be nylon now, i realy need to sort it for tomorrow night anybody got any idears?

it shouldnt leak from a copper washer unless the union from turbo pipe is loose! try tightening it a tadge more, if not and you cant get a washer which seems ridiculous, take the washer off and run it along some 400 wet n dry on a flat surface then it will be fine, assuming it is the washer thats leaking

ok cheers, i've tryed tightening the one you can see from under the car but it might be the turbo end, i think its gonna be a long day taking the turbo off. DOH!

havent you got some sort of metal work supplier in your area? thats where i go for all my bits like that

If the wet 'n' dry suggestion doesn't work (used it myself loads of times ) just get the proper replacment washers from Nissan
