Hey im new just got my self my first GTI-R the last few days the clutch pedal keeps loosing presure and going soft and last night lost it all together there is no clutch slip and pull fine so dont think it needs a new clutch any advice b4 i go bleed the system o and the car also idles at about 1500rpm????

You may have a dodgy hose between the slave cylinder and the pipe that goes to the master cylinder. Look for wet patches around the hose (on top of the gearbox), around the slave cylinder (on top of the gearbox) and the master cylinder (on the firewall on the drivers side).

High idle is a common problem on the GTiR. Look in the FAQ's for answers there.

cheers mate pissing with rain up here so looks like im gonna get really wet trying to fix the motor cos cant handle driving a mini :doh:
