Ive disconnected my fuel line from the fuel filter to the fuel rail, and the car still starts and run's :? but wont drive.
Is this normal?, is it likely that its getting some fuel from the return line or something?

Are you sure you've disconnected the right hose?
Is fuel coming out of the disconnected hose?
I'm not sure if the return is a one way system, if not I guess it could be sucking some fuel back in :?

lol, yeah, definatley got the right hose, it pumped about 3 litres into my petrol can.
Wouldnt think the fuel rail would have held much fuel?

The motor will run for bit without the fuel line connected, but will cut out eventually - once the fuel pressure in the fuel rail drops too low for the injectors to work/inject enough fuel for idle.
