so is imputed 8 into number: BKR8EIX----is this right-

Yes mate.

I would reccomend anyone to try the NGK plugs over the Denso/HKS plugs. A lot of Evo owners sware by them and after ditching my HKS plugs (which as you may know are made by Denso) and sticking some NGK Iridiums in I won't be going back. A lot cheaper, plus it revs loads better than with the HKS plugs in for some reason (maybe the HKS ones were shafted, maybe not) but the fact they seem to work perfectly (and a lot better than my old HKS ones) coupled with the price is enough to keep me with NGK's.
