I'd imagine using someone else certificate for the purpose of obtaining insurance is fraud.Chances are it will have some ID number on it too.Low chance of getting caught but why risk doing it and not having a cat 1 in the 1st place?

I would have thought that remote engine start was a liability as far as insurance is concerned... is that even legal in the UK? You're not supposed to leave a car running with a turbo timer, so it strikes me that it's not.
