Which caliper is which side!

Hey all,

Supposed to be getting a caliper from someone on the board but we dont know which is which side :lol:

when the caliper is fitted (passenger side) is the bleed nipple at the top or bottom and the two guide pin bolts are different so where is the fattest of the two, top or bottom?

Possibly the stupidist question ever put on this board, but i need to know :lol:

The bleed nipple has to be at the top as thats where the air is and it gets pushed out before the the fluid.i think thats right if it aint im gonna look like a right tit.As for the pins i aint gonna chance it.

Fattest guide pin is at the top, meaning the bleed nipple should be at the bottom ! Strange that, with the bleed nipples being at the bottom as, I'd tend to agree with dal.a's logic but, it's not the case !

I've just been fiddling with mine, changing the pads and discs so, I can remember them quite well ;o)

As I said, the logic is there, I guess my caliper carriers are on the wrong sides ?!
