weird noise at idle

Hi guys, here is my situation.

Since this morning I hear this weird noise at idle ... I will try to describe it the best way I can by this :

Sounds like a breeze of air passing true a tunnel .... the noise is constantly there but does not seem to increase with the engine's rpm. I can hear it from the engine bay but the noise is really noticeable from the inside of the car with windows up so I am guessing it's coming somewhere near the firewall ... Has anyone got an idea on what this can be ?

no I turned it on and turned back off again ... the noise is really deep and loud

Check the rubber gaitor around the steering column where it goes through the firewall, you will probably find it has split and that is why you can hear wind noise buddy:dance:
