water pump gone?

Posting this on behalf of Mikey:-

Steam coming from behind engine, top hose is hot, bottom hot is cold

Does this sound like the water pump, hat else could it be?
Any one got a pump?

just rang mikey, soudns like the coolant hoses behind the engine round the back that have split or popped off as steam was coming from back.
Also possibly blocked hose due to cold weather and not enuf antifreeze causing the wwater to get hot in engine quickly and pop the hoses on the back.
hope he gets it fixed soon
