water pipe

one of the water pipes behind the block has burst and i need to change it asap. i couldnt see any way in gettin to it from underneath so ive gone as far as taking the injector rail out from the top but dont see how its possible undo the inlet manifold bolts as there VERY awkward to get to. is there a certain order in which to remove this?
any help much appreciated

yes it can be done, its just easier to take the engine out if u can. If not you`ll just have to stuggle and do it.

but i cant get to some of the bolts to remove it. will it possible to drop the engine slightly and remove it stage by stage or jus to remove the inlet as one large piece? :?

my car recently blew a hose at the back of the block and with no specialists nearby i had to use the nissan dealership in plymouth ... hose £15 fitting £572 9 hrs labour ... granted nissan dealers generally know naff all about our cars but its apparantly a bitch of a job ... they came in from the top after removing the inlet mani , good luck , i had them change any other hoses that looked at all worn to save future hassle ...

I managed to change the hose that goes on to the oil filter housing from underneth. Very awkward and took me about 5 hours. The other two back there would be impossible to do that way though.

As requested here are the part numbers for the 6 hoses round the back of the block. Deffo worth changing if your engine is out - just ask Uncle Winnet
