what degress do the vernier pulleys need to be to set the valve timing

If you're on about the markings i think you are then they're just to fine tune the cam timing. What are they set at at the moment?

Did you fit the verniers and were they set on a rolling road tune or something originally?

My advice is set them to 0° until you get the car running again. Unless you've got some known good figures for your particular cams, you usually have to run it up and get power & torque curves, then advance/retard either or both cams, then run it up again....repeat until tuner has emptied your wallet
