Strange noise on pull off.

The pulsar is making a weird noise as it pulls off from a stationary position. Its crossed between a cow moo and a gear grind noise, I think its clutch related. As i start to engage the clutch and load it the noise is heard, only for a second until the clutch is fully engaged and the vehicle is moving. All gears work ok. No noise once its in motion. Any ideas. When it does it it can be felt through the car chassic like its turned into a giant electric shaver...

Is that a normal noise for a paddle clutch to make or is it buggered.

If it does not slip or rattle its fine, they do chrip and are designed to be on or off and not slip

Ok cheers Doc, It may also be some corrosion on the flywheel as its not been used for 7 years. See how its goes.

Corrosion on the flywheel? Clutch would slip and make a hell of a noise if it was a paddle...and wear out very quickly and if not a paddle a corroded flywheel would have the plate stuck to it and you would not get the car in gear when it's running.
