where does the stock boost gauge reads the boost from ?

It has a sender in the nearside wing; if you stand at the front with your bonnet up, it's right of the distributor in front of the strut tower (behind the air filter on mine).
Usually it stops because someone has taken the hose off it because they didn't know what it was.
